Virtual PA vs. the Physical PA
PA or we may say personal Assistant, as the name suggests the job of a PA is to assist the boss in the day to day working of the organization, so as to generate maximum profit. A PA is considered to be the heart and soul of the company. A boss becomes too vulnerable if the PA is not present. With time and constant dedication shown by the PA class has made them an indispensable part of an organization. The demand has reached to such an extent for PA that companies have started hiring virtual PA to meet their demands.
The virtual PA concept was introduced keeping in mind the cost benefits and the work which can be done with greater efficiency. The interaction between the boss and the virtual PA is totally through telecommunication and this is beneficial for the organization. Say for example a company in USA hires a virtual PA from India, the labor cost of India being cheaper the organization ends up paying lesser amount while the PA gets more than what Indian companies could offer, in this way both the parties are in a win-win situation. The concept of virtual PA is definitely helpful, but still it does not rule out the importance of physical presence and trust of a non-virtual PA.
